You've reached the home of PERGSS. Thanks for visiting us! The Physical Education and Recreation Graduate Student Society (PERGSS) is a graduate student organization designed to provide academic, social, and athletic opportunities for the graduate students in Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta. PERGSS strives to promote, provide, and organize professional and academic support for its members. In addition, the organization acts as a mediator between the Faculty and graduate students.

Speaker Series

Two speaker series events are being held this week. The first is on Thursday 20th January and the second on Friday 21st January. As always everyone is invited to attend and join in what is always an interesting and lively discussion! The two events will cover a range of topics and interests:

Thursday 20th January at 3.30pm in E-431

Chuck Matthews: "Sedentary behaviours: Do they influence our health and how can we measure them?"

Friday 21st January at 3.00pm in E-121

Scott Selbie: "The evolution of Visual3D's pose estimation algorithms for 3D motion capture data: coping with uncertainty"
