The Physical Education and Recreation Graduate Student Society (PERGSS) is a graduate student organization designed to provide academic, social, and athletic opportunities for the graduate students in Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta. PERGSS strives to promote, provide, and organize professional and academic support for its members. In addition, the organization acts as a mediator between the Faculty and graduate students.

Guest Lecture: David Streiner

On November 16th in Room 2-115, CSB, University of Alberta, Dr. David Streiner will be conducting a public lecture. Dr Streiner's presentation is entitled, "Why RCT's rarely yield the truth." Dr Streiner has authored over 15 books on Measurement techniques in health care, biostatistics and epidemiology. He is currently based at McMaster and Toronto and previously sat on the CIHR committee.

Sounds like a talk worth attending!
